Design and Engineering:

Precision Die and Stamping has a broad range of engineering capabilities. We use several brands of 2D and 3D CAD and CAD/CAM design software using the proper program per design application. In some instances it is necessary to use 3D software to design an entire die or custom machine. 3D design ensures real mating and clearance issues to a minimum, and invites less mistakes than traditional 2D design, especially on compound planer or motion application. Although 3D design takes a bit longer, it is time well spent. All dies, tools, or parts are drawn with full plan views, section views, detailed components, & complete stock list. Preliminary design is submitted to customer before part construction. Design is approved by Engineering Manager, Product Engineer, and Production Manager.

All dies are designed per customer specifications incorporating items such as: Mis-Feed detectors, idle stations, guided tooling, etc. After completion of the tool (upon request) any electronic data and files will be given to the customer. Plotted prints can be produced up to "E" size (42" wide). Our designers can handle simple tools through highly complex dies or custom machinery.
